May 10, 2010 Hola friends and partners,
Thank you for your continued prayers, compassion and financial support. Every
day I stand in awe at the faithfulness of the Lord for myself, my family and
the ministry.
Pastors Martin and Angel along with my faithful workers are continuing the
renovations in all three areas. In Centro de Amor our new kitchen is almost
finished. A metal security door and window are necessary to protect the
equipment from vandals and thieves. My ladies are very excited to work
in such a nice kitchen. The “little lambs” classroom is all done.
The ceiling in the church has been repaired and repainted. A Mexican non
profit organization donated new kitchen cabinets, enough supplies to install
a laminated floor in the church and light fixtures to install in our three
stations - a $4,000 value. In Terrazas del Valle we were blessed with
a donation of a restaurant type sink. Value $500. We paid $75, the cost
of the duty to bring it in from San Diego. The Lord has truly blessed TLCCM
with a double portion.
In Rosarito, Pastor Angel is renovating the lower part of his house to accommodate
TLCCM Mission Teams. I now have my “own” room in Rosarito. Teams
will have a fully equipped own kitchen. We will have two rooms for ladies
and a full bathroom that they will share with yours truly. Each room has been
repainted and redecorated. The guys will have one room and a new bathroom.
The ladies accommodations will be ready by the end of June. The guys sections
will be ready by October.
TLCCM’s first Mission Team is scheduled for August of 2010. We can
accommodate a maximum of 8 team members. For further information, please contact
me at tlccm@rogers.com
In April, our National Day of the Child was a tremendous success. In each
location the children played games and worked with crafts. Every child received
a warm meal before returning home. We were able to bless over 600 children.
Construction of the second story in Terrazas del Valle will start in June.
I am grateful for your friendship, and the love you show “my” Mexican
family.
When we work together miracles happen.
Sincerely,
Denisexxx
