A mission experience
is not just another trip. It is a life changing experience.
A mission experience is really an ideal
situation to forget about one’s
needs and comforts and focus only on the needs of others.
TLCCM takes great pride and responsibility
in giving visitors a good mission experience.
TLCCM give our visitors hands-on experience. When visitors
return home, they can truly say they have experienced
the mission field.
It does change most people forever.
Under the guidance of Rev. Denise Deschamps and our TLCCM leaders,
you will help to feed the children at our Centro Réveil
Feeding Station in Terrazas del Valle. With an average of 275
kids per day, there is plenty of work to do. Ex: Serving, washing
dishes & cleaning tables. Playing and hugging our kids is
also very important. Bring a ball and play with these precious
kids.
You will also experience a rice and bean distribution, a gift
distribution or help to give out ice cream treats. At times,
we will include a shampoo/hair cutting time. If some have barber
or hairdresser skills, bring your scissors. There is always
work for a handyman and painters.
You will also attend our regular church services. Our TLCCM leaders
always lead the children during our services, but if you play
an instrument, you are welcome to join the worship team. We
also give our visitors an opportunity to sing as individuals
or as a group. Our kids and workers love to hear you sing in
English or French.
We can accommodate 8 team members (ladies or men) per trip. No
private rooms available.
Age requirement is 18 yrs.
